A loan of $900 helped purchase pigs.

Luz's story

Luz is 51 years old and lives with her daughter in her own house. For the last 10 years, she has raised animals, including calves and pigs. She recently began selling the pigs, which are very sought-after in the market, so she makes a good profit. Her daughter helps her raise and sell the animals. She also sells food in the commercial area in her neighborhood.

Selling animals has been very beneficial for her and has increased her capital. With the earnings, she invests in planting vegetables like alfalfa and corn. For this reason, she will continue selling young animals with the goal of earning more income.

With this loan, she will buy more pigs. This is her sixth loan with MFP. She is very happy to have a financial support, and she likes being part of her community bank because all of the members are very responsible and supportive. She is also thankful to all the people who manage the loans because they are very useful in the advancement of her business.
