A loan of $1,075 helped to buy new equipment for his radio station.

Tony's story

Tony is 21 years old. He is a very modest and hard-working young man who lives on his own in his own house. What he wants more than anything is to get ahead in life. He is prepared to work very hard to achieve this. Tony's business is in the town of Santa Rosa (which is located in the Ayacuchana jungle). He runs a radio station which has become his main source of income. It is the main radio station in the town and he has managed to make his work profitable. What Tony most likes about his work is programming music, monitoring the programs which are transmitted and making sure that the programs have appropriate content. He has been in this business for 4 years. He considers that the most difficult thing about his work is having to remain inside the radio station for almost 18 hours a day which leaves him very tired. Over time, he would like to improve his installations to make the visitors to his radio station more comfortable. This is Tony's fourth loan with MFP and he knows that this support will be very beneficial to the development of his work. He is a very happy member of his community bank and he always brings order to their meetings. He will use his loan for 3,000 nuevos soles to buy new equipment for his radio station since his existing equipment is breaking down as it has been used for a long time.
