Carmen Ester's story

Carmen belongs to the “Los Líderes” (Leaders) community bank which is located in Huanchac district, in Cusco province, in Cusco department.

Carmen is 39 years old. She is single and has one child. She works making and selling purses. She makes all kinds of purses, in all colors and all sizes, in macramé, leather, wool and cloth.. Carmen does beautiful hand-made pieces and sells them independently, first to her contacts and then to their friends. She would like to buy materials so that she can continue making her purses. She is new to the group and is very happy that they have invited her to be a part of this pleasant group. She is requesting this loan to buy material to make her purses so that she can sell them at Christmas.

She is grateful for this loan and appreciates it. She pledges to make her repayments in a timely manner.
