Pedro Cesar's story

Peter is 63 years old. He rents umbrellas to tourists on the beach. He lives in an area called “Beaches”, one of the tourist locations in Ecuador that has a large variety of shellfish. It has been thirty-five years since his mother-in-law died and he started working in the business that she left behind in order to continue the family business. He effectively runs his business, so many tourist know where to go to rent umbrellas. He works from 6am until 5pm on the beach renting umbrellas for $5.00 including a chair. Tents rent for about $5.00, depending on their size. In order to continue with his business, he would like to buy, with this loan, umbrellas, tents, and chairs for his customers so that he will have a variety of products. In the future he would like to have a booth on the beach in order to provide better service to his customers.
