A loan of $725 helped to buy merchandise to stock Julia's snack shop.

Julia's story

Julia is 60 years old. She lives in her own home with the company of her 3 eldest daughters and their respective families. Although this lady doesn't have young children in her care she works every day to get ahead in life. For the past 5 years she has worked in her business selling sweets, soda pop, and beers from the door of her home. She is very satisfied as she gets regular earnings that allow her to help her daughters to raise her grandchildren, which in her words are the treasures that life has given her. She begins her work very early and attends her shop from 10 in the morning until night. She likes sales because it is a fairly tranquil activity that allows her to work in the comfort of her home; but she doesn't like that she can't go out very often because it would neglect her business. She is very happy with the performance of her group. In the future, she plans to grow her business and to stock it with a larger quantity of merchandise. This is her 12th loan with MFP, and she promises to make her payments punctually as she doesn't want to displease the people who make possible the support that will permit her to continue working in the pursuit of progress. Julia plans to invest the requested loan in the purchase of some merchandise and ingredients to better stock her business, and in this manner she hopes to improve her earnings.
