Irina's story

Irina T. is 46 years old, single and has one grown son. She lives in Sokuluk village in the northern part of Kyrgyzstan. Irina began her business in cattle breeding in 2005 in order to find an additional means of subsistence. With her initial capital of 6,000 KGS, Irina bought a bull. Today, she manages to earn about 5,000 KGS per month by selling meat products.

Irina is applying for a loan of 80,000 KGS to purchase bull calves for fattening and resale. In the future, she plans to broaden her business by purchasing more cattle.
