Ana's story

Ana is 43 and lives with Juan, 48. They have three children, Fredy, 15, Mery, 22, and Edwin, 18. Together with her husband, her kids work hard in their own home, located in the rural zone of Yaroka. As a united family, Ana, Juan, and their kids think up ways they can get ahead.

They all work in agriculture, mainly growing gladiolus, peas, potatoes, and corn. They have been working in agriculture for 24 years. During the harvest, Ana travels with her daughter to the city of Tarma and to the capital of the country, where she sells her products to the different purchasers.

For his part, Juan and his son work in public transportation. Every day using the 3 automobiles they own, they transport inhabitants along the Tarma - Yaroka route. It provides them good income because the area is nearby and the citizens constantly need to go to the city to do their activities.

Ana wants to continue working and planting more each day. Ana is a responsible woman and a fighter. Every loan payment with MFP gives incentive to the members to get ahead. This is Ana’s eighth loan, and she would like to continue working to achieve her goals. With the requested loan, she will be able to purchase organic fertilizer for the cultivation of gladiolas, and similarly, will be able to hire help to plow her fields, where she is planning on planting carrots and spinach.
