A loan helped to provide maintenance for his cart.

Osvaldo's story

Osvaldo is 55 years old and married. He provides a transport service in a horse-drawn cart which is known in the city as 'carumbé'. Every day he goes to his place of work which is on the corner of the street where the busiest hospital in the city is located and where families who have the least economic means come. The cost of his service is affordable for these families. He is a father of 5 children who are all teenagers. His wife sells roasted meat in the same spot and most of his children already work.

Osvaldo would like to continue helping his family with his business which means that he needs to fix up his old cart with new wheels and a paint job. He also needs to fix its seat and do some other work. This is why he has approached Fundación Paraguaya to request this loan which he will use for this work and thereby be able to continue providing his service to the most needy people in the city.
