A loan of $2,300 helped a member to buy merchandise.

Amapolas De Puente Group's story

This photo was taken in Mrs. Ma. Guadalupe García’s grocery store. She is the Treasurer of the Amapolas de Puente (Puente Poppies) group located in the community of Puente de Ixtla in Morelos state, México. In the photo one can see the merchandise she offers her customers.

She has sold groceries for 14 years and is asking for funds to stock the store. She will buy dairy products that she needs for the store. Her customers prefer her because she is a trustworthy person and she has the best prices in the neighborhood. At present she feels happy because she is going to be able to stock dairy products for her customers.

She is 50 years old, finished the first year of Accounting, is single and has a 12-year-old son. She wants the loan to buy merchandise in order to offer a greater variety of products to her customers.
