A loan of $200 helped to pay the transportation charges for the potatoes which he will sell.

Wilder's story

Wilder is 20 years old. He is a good and responsible young man who, together with his wife, 20 year-old Jessica, looks after his 1 year-old son Diego. They live together in a rental house which is in the town of Casacoto. For two years he has been buying and selling potatoes wholesale. He travels to different places in the country to sell his town's produce. However, when he started his family, he decided to invest in farming in order to have an additional income. He started sowing potatoes, peas and beans (agricultural products). With Jessica's support, he can tend them and watch them grow strong, without many problems. However, conscious of the fact that he must work to provide his family with a good future, he is thinking of expanding his wholesale business. “The most important thing in this business is to be known”, he confirms.

This is Wilder's first loan with MFP and he is sure that, in the same way as the other members of his community bank, he will be able to get ahead with his work and his family. He will use the loan he is requesting to invest in transportation charges for his next load of potatoes which he is about to sell.
