A loan of $375 helped to buy sacks of fertilizer and bean seeds.

Judith's story

Judith is 19 years old. She is a very responsible young woman with many aspirations. She lives with her parents and 3 siblings in the town of Casacoto. She thanks God for having put her on the right path. As a good daughter she supports her parents with the household expenses. She works in the mornings in a farming and livestock store and, in the afternoon, she is studying a computing course. She hasn't got many years left in her course. When she finishes, she would like to pursue her career in computing but she would also like to have something of her own. For this reason, she is planning to open her own agricultural store where she will not only sell farming products but also provide training and teaching. Now her project is to sow potatoes and beans in the land which her father gave her as an inheritance. “Right now, I will just begin with a small production”, she confirms.

This is Judith's first loan with MFP and she is happy to belong to a community bank which has such successful members with many ambitions. She intends to use the loan she is requesting to acquire fertilizer and bean seeds which she will sow very shortly.
