The “La Esperanza del Valle” (Hope of the Valley) group has eight members who are characterized by their desire to make progress through their hard work. Rosario del Pilar has been an active member of this group for eight months. Currently she is the group's treasurer. She is 47 years old. She is a single mother and has 4 children who are her incentive and support in getting ahead. Rosario del Pilar carries out a number of business activities to generate income. One of these activities is the sale of beauty products from a catalog. With a lot of effort she has managed to attract a number of customers. Rosario el Pilar has a number of goals including to finish building her home, to keep her business going, to educate her children so that they can do better than her and to grow professionally. Through the effort of her work she has managed to pay for part of the land her house is on and to help with household finances. The current loan will be used to buy toys for the Christmas season.
