Priscilla's story

Priscilla L. is from the village of Parog Parog, Solana, Cagayan. Shventure ie is 34 years old. Priscilla is married and has 2 school-aged children. To make a living, Priscilla owns and operates a business raising crops. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from planting and harvesting rice for sale. Priscilla has been engaged in her business for over 7 years and earns approximately 12,000 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2007, Priscilla joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Priscilla has successfully repaid a previous loan of 20,000 PHP from ASKI. Priscilla is requesting a new loan of 22,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional seeds, seedlings and young crops to raise. This loan will be the 7th loan taken out by Priscilla from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve/expand her business.
