A loan of $475 helped working capital.

Eliar Jose's story

Eliar José is 34 years old. He has a small grocery store in which he sells canned goods, soups and meat. He started his business when he had a certain amount of savings. He started the business as he needed the income for his family. He has two dependent children in his care and, over time, he has managed to expand his business. He works from 6 in the morning until 9 at night every day selling candies, soft drinks, grains, bread and soda. One of the recent difficulties he has had in working in his store has been his wife's illness since this means that he also has to take care of his children. He will use his loan to buy drinks, basic grains and bread, amongst other products since a good season is approaching and he wants to be able to offer everything to his customers.
