Luisa's story

LLuisa is 57-years-old. She is an admirable mother to her family and very hard-working. She lives in her own house with her daughter and her niece. Her main work is the sale of sandals and baby clothing. These sales are made in a nearby market in her neighborhood. She has been selling for years in various markets, but over time was able to establish herself in a sales location that she continues with today. Since then the work has been much more relaxing. During these 20 years of work, she recognizes that she likes it very much, in addition to it being profitable. Now she can sell the merchandise on credit and receive slightly more profits because of the interest she charges. Over time, she would like to purchase her own sales location in the market and in this way ensure her future. This is her sixteenth loan with MFP and she knows that she has to make her payments punctually and she is ready to do that. In her communal bank, she is member who participates a lot and is concerned with the well-being of the group. With the loan she is requesting, she would like to increase the quantity of baby clothing and sandals for the coming summer in order to have more varied merchandise to offer.
