Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $550 helped to buy staple goods for her store,.

Eva Concepcion's story

Mrs. Eva R. has had a general store for several years and sells staple goods. Her store is in the community Simon Azcona, in front of the school Rafael Pineda Ponce.

She manages her business very well because she does it personally and her costumers visit it regularly. It has been her household only source of income since she has been a widow for over 10 years. After her husband passed away, she continued to work hard to make sure her children are well provided for.

The loan will be used to buy goods to stock up her store.
