A loan of $400 helped stock grocery business.

Martha's story

Our member, Martha, belongs to the PUNTUALITO community bank in the Peruvian "departamento" of Cusco.

Martha, 38, is married and has 3 children. She juggles her day between two businesses: a corner shop--selling everyday commodities like sugar, rice and milk--and a taxi business that she operates with her husband. She works from 7:00am to 10:00pm. She is applying for a loan to stock her business and for auto maintenance.

Martha is grateful to everyone who has made this means of borrowing possible and is committed to repaying the loan in the agreed-upon time.
