Rose's story

Rose P. is from the village of Villa Coloma, Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya. She is 39 years old. Rose is married and has four school-aged children. To make a living, she operates a direct selling business in the local community, selling cosmetics such as lotions and perfumes and also jewelry such as glasses and watches. She has been engaged in her business for over seven years and earns approximately $100 a month for these activities.

In 2010, Rose joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. She is requesting a loan of 5,000 PHP to purchase additional products to sell. This will be her 1st loan from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to financially support immediate members of her family.
