A loan of $1,100 helped to buy more vegetables to stock her business.

Maximina's story

Maximina is 43 years old. She is a hard-working mother of good character. She lives in her own home with her husband and 4 children. Every day she gets up really early in the morning to stock her stall with fresh vegetables and root crops. Her stall is in the entrance of the market near her home. What she most likes about her business is that she doesn't make any losses and she makes good profits, in spite of the fact that she has to get up early and spend the early hours of each morning in the wholesale market. She has been working in this trade for 20 years. She has many regular customers who come to her for the good service and friendliness with which she greets them. In the future, what she would most like is to build a second floor to her house with all the respective finishing touches and provide her children with a good education.

This is the 16th loan which she has had from MFP. She assures us that this loan will be very beneficial to the development of her business activity. She is a very responsible member of her community group, which means that the others respect her. She will use the loan which she is requesting to increase her stock of vegetables and root crops and to expand her business.
