Bokk Diom Group's story

The BOKK DIOM solidarity group was created March 28, 2008. It consists of eight women from the same neighborhood. They came together as neighbors and through kinship. The group is part of the Banc Villageois MONTAGNE NORD2.

Mrs. Fatou Diop N., standing at the right of the photo, is the head of the group. She is 66 years old, married, and the mother of twelve children.

She has been involved in the activity of sheep fattening ever since the group joined the Banc Villageois.

With her loan, she plans to buy three oxen and some cattle feed to fatten the animals and sell them five months later.

Her goal is to strengthen her working capital to expand her business. She also participates in the financial support of the family.
