Francisco's story

Francisco J. P. has only an elementary school education. He is father to two children who he supports and helps in their education together with his partner. They have few means of support. His partner sells empanadas in an intinerant manner which earns a little income to support the family. He has been working as a motorcycle taxi driver in Ivirgarzama for more than 3 years. He is a member of the “2 de Agosto” motorcycle taxi drivers' union. He has been an active member for more than 3 years. The service which he provides is profitable owing to the high number of people who request this service for its ease, speed and efficiency. The union has stops and shifts for each affiliate in different parts of the town of Ivirgarzama where people turn up to request this service.

This is the first time that Francisco has had a loan from our organization. It will be used to buy a new motorcycle as his current one has already reached the end of its life cycle. This way he will be able to provide a better service to his customers which will allow him to improve his income and also his standard of living.

It must be pointed out that Francisco J. P. appeared in person to request his loan after his work mates told him of the good credit conditions with which our organization works.
