A loan of $725 helped to buy organic fertilizer and pea seeds.

Eduardo's story

26 year old Eduardo is a cheerful and hardworking man who lives with 22 year old Cecilia. They have 2 children, 5 year old Sarai and 2 year old Tany, and the four of them live in their own home located in the rural area of Santa Clara. Their future plan is to acquire their own farm land. For 5 years they have been working hard on rented land where they sow potatoes, peas, beans, and other vegetables which, after each harvest, they sell in the central marked of the city Tarma. Each harvest is a result of Eduardo's hard work and brings him good profits which, thanks to the support of the community bank, he is saving up. In very little time he will be able to buy his own land. He predicts that this will bring him greater income and he will be able to buy much more. This is his sixth loan from MFP, and he is grateful for the lessons offered to the bank members which motivate him to be successful and think of the future. He will use this loan to buy organic fertilizer which he will apply to his "arenosa" variety potatoes which he will be harvesting in the coming months. He will also buy pea seeds.
