Alba Nidia tiene 3 hijos y trabajan de manera independiente. Esta no es la primera vez que realizaba financiamientos con Fundación. La actividad económica a la que se dedica es una pulpería, hace más de 14 años que se dedica a este negocio. Esto les ayudo como un ingreso adicional en su familia, poco a poco ella invirtió sus ahorros en arroz, pan, sopas y vitrinas para hacer más grande la tienda. Fue incrementando su capital y comprando más productos. El dinero que solicita será destinado para capital de trabajo para la compra de materia prima. Pues todos los días busca la forma de darse apoyo para mejorar más.

Fundación Leon 2000 began operations in 1993 as the first microfinance institution to serve the western part of Nicaragua, a country which continues to be one of the poorest in the western hemisphere. Fundación Leon 2000 works to further the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises through credit services and management, applying the best credit industry practices and technical expertise. Additionally, Fundación Leon manages several business and financial education programs in the community, specifically for young entrepreneurs and at-risk youth.
