Jargalsaihan's story

Jargalsaihan L. is 37 years old and lives with her husband and two daughters in a house with a fence in Uvurhangai province, Mongolia. Her husband operates a taxi service as well as a carpentry business to support his family, while her older daughter attends the local high school. Jargalsaihan is a diligent, optimistic and hardworking woman.


Jargalsaihan sells fruit at retail from a rented mobile stall in the local market. She started her business in 2002 and has gained much experience since then. She halted business for three months after having a baby in 2009, but today her business carries on as a stable operation.


Jargalsaihan is requesting a 3,000,000 MNT loan in order to purchase more fruit for her fruit business and necessary wood and supplies for her husband's carpentry business.
