Morn's Group's story

This village loan group consists of nine people in Damrei Chhlang village, Kandal province. Mr. Morn M. is 40 years old and the group's president having been selected by it members. He is a mushroom farmer, and also owns a plot of land to cultivate vegetables while his wife, Mrs. Meas Chanthol, 36, works as seamstress in the garment factory. They are able to earn a good profit to support the family but do not have enough money to fix the tiles on their house so M. would like to ask for a loan to add his saving to buy the tiles. The couple has five children: one is mushroom farmer, one stays at home while the others are students in the local school.
