Corazon De Oro Group's story

The CORAZON DE ORO (Heart of Gold) communal bank starts its 10th cycle within the Germán Busch Focal Center. It has been renewed and has many new members as is the case of the President and Recording Secretary. However, for the post of Treasurer Francisca, who has been in 9 previous cycles, was elected which will place a person with experience on the governing board. This communal bank has 8 members.

Francisca is a mature, 52 year old, married woman. She has made macramé decorations on blankets for 30 years. She works at home which allows her to do her household chores too. Sales are also home based. The $650 USD loan will be used to buy raw materials.

The other group members are in a variety of business activities. Among them are: macramé on blankets, clothing store, blanket weaving, notebook making, macramé on blankets, spice sales and vicuña blanket sales.

In this group: Francisca, Loida Roxana, Veronica, Delia Clime, Dominga Albertina, Natividad, Reyna, Cecilia
