A loan of $600 helped operational capital.

Margarita's story

Margarita A. H. is 49 years old and lives in her mother’s house, located in a neighborhood of the city of Tarija. Margarita is single and does not have children. She works making pastries which she then distributes to the different establishments in the city, and has done so for more than 20 years.

Margarita tells us that as the Day of the Dead is approaching, she needs to buy flour, butter, sugar, etc. She also needs to buy merchandise for her neighborhood store so that she can improve her earnings and provide her mother with a better life. This is why the loan will be used for the purchase of the mentioned supplies and merchandise.

Margarita tells us that she wants to give her mother all the comfort that she can. This is why she says that the next loan that she requests will be for making improvements to the house where she and her mother live.
