Telesfora's story

Telesfora is a member of the Communal Bank group "Pink Women", located in the district of Ilave, in the province of El Collao, and in the department of Puno. She is 58 years old and married with seven children. She has no formal education.

Telesfora has worked with Manuela Ramos for four years. Her first loan in the amount of 300 PEN allowed her to fatten small animals such as sheep and pigs.

She is now asking for a loan of 500 PEN to increase the capital of her business so she can fattening sheep and to breed pigs.

Her dream is to grow her business and to see her children secure jobs. What she likes about the Communal Bank is working in a group with joy.
