A loan of $1,200 helped buy cattle to butcher.

Maria Del Transito's story

Doña María ia 56 years old. She lives in Jiquilisco, in the department of Usulután. She has a butcher shop and lives with her children. She is a very hard-working woman. She has depended on this business since her husband died. The butcher shop has already been in existence for 30 years, providing the household income to pay expenses. She sells meat, beef ribs, and cattle byproducts.

She wants to buy more cattle to butcher so that she can better meet the demands of her customers. With this loan, she will improve her inventory so that she always has meat ready to sell. Her aim is to increase the number of customers and have a stable, competetive business.
