Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The “Mujeres Emprdedoras” (Enterprising Women) Communal Bank was formed on the 17th of May in 2006. The group formed through the promotions that the consultant made and thanks to the current general director. Today the group is comprised of 20 women. They continue working with the same enthusiasm and effort. They are in their 15th cycle. They work within the program as a cohesive and united group.

The group has excellent payment performance. Thanks to the memorable way they treat each other and their supportive work they continue on increasing their income and working with the program.

Marciana is one of the members. She is a small businesswoman. She sells merchandise like goods for families and babies, notions, bookstore items, and other things. Her business is replete, and that is why her customers prefer to shop in her business.

She is very satisfied with her business and with her group. She says that she has greatly developed her capacity to work, participate, and be responsible. This is because they work as a group, and that helps each woman with their personal development.

She is requesting the loan to buy merchandise for her store. She will buy things like drinks, oil, tea, canned goods, sweets, and other items.

In this group: Marciana, Estela, Susana, Antonia, Rosalina, M. Laura, Bernardina, Isabel, M. Elvira, Nilsa, Lourdes, Liz, Petrona, Nélida, Maximina, Liz, Arsenia, Ricardo*, Elizabeth*
