Catalina De Lourdes
Catalina is 58 years old. She sells goods and costume jewelry from a stall. She lives with her husband and three children in Orquídeas de Guayaquil (an urban area which is called 'Las Orquídeas' – 'Orchids' because when it was discovered there were many orchids there).

She started her business several years ago selling costume jewelry until she could manage to get a street stall in the town of Guayaquil to sell her goods and jewelry. She works from 8.30am to 6.30pm every day selling to people who pass by her stall in the street. She sells magazines, jewelry, newspapers, sweets, blouses, etc.

With her loan she would like to purchase blouses to diversify the goods which she sells a little. In the future, she would like to continue working in order to continue helping her children.

Catalina de 58 años, es vendedora de artículos y bisutería en un puesto. Vive con su esposo y tres hijos en las Orquídeas de Guayaquil (zona urbana, llamada las orquídeas porque en su descubrimiento habían muchas flores orquídeas).

Comenzó hace varios años con su negocio vendiendo bisutería hasta que pudo conseguir en el municipio de Guayaquil un puesto en la calle para vender sus artículos y bisutería. Trabaja desde las 08h30am hasta las 18h30pm todos los días vendiéndole a las personas que caminan por la calle donde esta ubicado su puesto. Vende revistas, bisutería, periódico, dulces, blusas etc.

Con el préstamo quiere comprar blusas para diversificar un poco la mercadería que vende. En el futuro quiere seguir trabajando para seguir ayudando a sus hijos.
