Octavia tiene 56 años, es casada y tiene ocho hijos. Actualmente, Octavia vive en la comunidad de Compone del distrito de Anta provincia de Anta del departamento del Cusco. La comunidad de Compone se encuentra ubicado a 45 minutos de la ciudad del Cusco donde la mayoría de pobladores se dedican a la agricultura y ganadería. Octavia alterna las actividades del hogar con las actividades de su negocio. Su actividad económica principal de Octavia es la ganadería y brinda servicios de transportes. Yanet también se dedica a la compra y venta de maíz.

Octavia desde hace mucho tiempo que participa en el banco comunal “San Isidro de Compone” de la Unidad de Micro finanzas Arariwa de la ciudad del Cusco, Perú. Octavia con su próximo préstamo que espera recibir de S/. 600 nuevos soles, ella invertirá una parte del dinero en el gasto familiar y la otra parte comprara maíz.
