She also received training from Manuela Ramos in manicure services to complement her beauty product sales business. Clara is also the founder of the Courageous Women Communal Bank. The loan Clara will receive from Manuela Ramos is in the amount of 1800 PEN, which will be repaid in four monthly installments. This money will increase her operating capital for her small business making bed linens and dish towels. She will invest the funds in the following manner: 30 meters of fabric for making linens, 6 cones of thread in different colors, 10 meters of terry cloth for making dish towels, one dozen appliqués, 20 meters of fabric borders, and 3 units of glittering borders. Clara will also send out her machine for repair. With the loans from Manuela Ramos Clara will be able to support the household finances, grow her business, and improve the quality of life for herself and her family.
