A loan of $750 helped buying hair extensions and cosmetics.

Nouratou's story

B. Nouratou was born on March 24, 1975 in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin. She is married to ADEKAMBI Sundé, a merchant. The couple have three children, who are all in school and in their care. Nouratou has been living for eighteen years in the Agbodjèdo district in Cotonou with her family. The couple jointly provide for their family.

Early on, Nouratou dropped out of school and then learned how to style hair. Concurrent to this business that she operates, she sells hair extensions and various cosmetic products in her shop located in Midombo. She gets her supplies at Dantokpa, the international market of Benin.

She is a previous client of ALIDé having already had five loans, which have all been repaid. Facing the burgeoning demand from her customer base, Nouratou is requesting another loan with the aim of increasing her stock of goods and her sales.
