A loan of $1,100 helped to buy more animals for her business of selling small animals.

Elsa's story

Elsa is a member of the Santiago Patrón Communal Bank. It is in the Santiago de Pupuja district, Azángaro province, Puno department. She is 49 years old, married, and has three children. She has a high school education.

Elsa has been working with the Manuela R. Movimiento for four years. She tells us that with her first loan for 300 soles she was able to increase the capital in her business of selling small animals.

She is requesting a new loan for 3,000 to buy more animals for her business of selling small animals. Her dream is to have more capital in order to improve her business.

What she likes the most about her communal bank is the easy terms of the loan and the earnings from saving.
