A loan of $375 helped to purchase feed to expand her business raising and selling animals.

Lula's story

Lula is a 57-year-old mother who lives with her husband and children in the San Martín settlement in the district of TambogranD.. It is a farming area located in the Piura province and region more than 3.5 hours from the city of Chiclayo, which is the capital of the Lambayeque region.

She works selling soy milk and tamales outsiD. of a church in her area and she also raises sheep. She raises her sheep in an area close to her house, feeding them natural grasses. When they grow to be a certain size and weight, she sells them live or slaughtered, depending on the case. She uses the earnings that she receives from these businesses to help her husband, who is a farmer, with maintaining the family finances.

Lula wants to expand her business and get more animals to raise and sell, as well as supplies to continue making and selling food. This is why she has believed it to be necessary to request, for the first time, a loan of 1,000 Peruvian Nuevos Soles (PEN) from Edpyme Alternativa to help her achieve her goal.

She is a woman who is very dedicated to her family and always tries to look out for their development and wellbeing. The people that know her consider her to be an honorable and trustworthy person.
