Johanna Beatriz's story

The community bank named "Los Corrales" meets every two weeks in the community of Los Corrales, a few minutes from the city of Montecristi. It is a region where the populations have various occupations, including: artisan and general merchant.

Johanna is 26 years old. She is married and from this beautiful relationship came a beautiful 14-month old baby boy. For her this is the best part of life, living together with her husband. He works in the La Fabril company in Manta.

She is a housewife who takes care of her home and her baby who needs so much of her. She says that since the arrival of their baby the situation has been difficult which is why she wants to start a clothing business. Her mother in law has offered to care for the baby.

This loan will be used to purchase merchandise to start up her business. She's plans on traveling to Guayaquil with a friend these days to make her purchases. This is her first loan with her community bank. She enjoys being a member for the ability to access loans.

Her dream is to have a house of her own. They currently live with her parents in law.
