Yader Enrique is 31 years old. He is a very responsible and hard-working father who has worked incredibly hard to have his own business. He lives with his wife and two children. In his business, José sells merchandise in different places in an itinerant manner which means that he must get up early every day to prepare the products which he will offer to his customers. Yader is requesting a loan in order to stock up on his purchase of sheets, towels, cosmetics and footwear so that he can offer them to more people.

En su negocio José se encarga de vender mercadería en general en diferentes lugares, su venta está ubicada de manera ambulante, por lo que tiene que levantarse temprano todos los días para preparar los productos que ofrecerá a sus clientes. Yader solicita un préstamo a través del cual pueda surtir su compra de sabanas, toallas, cosméticos y calzado de modo que pueda ofrecérselas a más personas.

Fundación Leon 2000 began operations in 1993 as the first microfinance institution to serve the western part of Nicaragua, a country which continues to be one of the poorest in the western hemisphere. Fundación Leon 2000 works to further the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises through credit services and management, applying the best credit industry practices and technical expertise. Additionally, Fundación Leon manages several business and financial education programs in the community, specifically for young entrepreneurs and at-risk youth. Fundación Leon 2000’s group of experienced and dedicated employees works in 7 offices in Leon, Chinandega, Chichigalpa, Somotillo, Jinotepe, El Sauce, and Nagarote and serves several thousand clients (the majority of whom are women).
