A loan of $1,925 helped a member to purchase sound equipment.

Uniendo Fuerzas Group's story

Margarita actively participates in her communal bank, Uniendo Fuerzas, as treasurer. There are also seven other enterprising people who form part of the group. Margarita is an elementary school teacher at a school in Chosica and she also provides private classes to children. She has a vocation for teaching and is considered to be a good educator. At age 30, she is currently expecting her first child and together with her spouse, who works at a shoe factory in the area, they have many dreams to fulfill. She has already been able to buy some items for their house and she soon wants to have enough savings to buy a car to be able to rent it out. She wants to invest in sound equipment to make her lectures more interactive. Margarita is happy to belong to the communal bank and she is grateful for the loans received and to reaffirm her punctuality in loan payments, just like her fellow group members.
