Zenaida's story

Zenaida A., from the village of Cabaruan, is 43 years old, married and has four school-aged children. To make a living, Zenaida owns and operates a business venture raising pigs for fattening and sale. Engaged in her business for over a year, she earns approximately 4000 PHP monthly.

In 2009, Zenaida joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Having repaid her previous loan of 4000 PHP from ASKI that was used to purchase baby livestock to raise and sell in the future, she is now requesting her third loan of 8000 PHP to be used for the same purpose. Zenaida plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve/expand the business.
