Cruz es socio de la ventanilla rural El Placer de Ser Amigos, que está ubicada a 20 minutos de la parroquia San Jose del Tambo. Son 15 socios en total, que en la mayoridad se dedican al cultivo de cacao o tienen sus propios pequeños negocios.

A Cruz se dedica a la agricultura. Cultiva maíz y ha criado chanchos por los últimos 3 anos. Solicita el credito para comprar 3 chanchos mas. Con el apoyo del préstamo, podria intvertir, poco a poco ampliando su negocio de criar chanchos. Su sueno es que su hijo estudie en el colegio y que sea mas que ella.
