Geoconda Elizabeth's story

Geoconda Elizabeth C. S. is 20 years old. She lives in a common law relationship with her partner and has one child. She lives in the canton of Ventanas in Los Ríos Province. Her child, Odalys, is three years old. Geoconda is a member of the La Esperanza (Hope) rural bank, located 25 miles from Ventanas Canton. This is a community primarily devoted to commerce. The group meets each month in the neighborhood of San Vicente. Geoconda works in the business of selling clothing, sheets and towels ordered by her customers. She purchases them in Guayaquil and sells them at her home. She is applying for the loan to purchase merchandise in order to enlarge her business. The loan would help her acquire her necessities by supporting her financially. Her dreams are to have a shop and buy a house. In her spare time she likes to play indoor soccer and volleyball.
