William John's story

William John O., a 43-year-old resident of Pallisa in the Iganga region of Uganda, is married and has five children, none of whom are currently in school. William has a retail shop dealing mainly in agricultural supplies, a business he has operated for less than one year.



To help expand his business, William has requested a loan of 2.000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda to purchase more items such as sugar and seeds for the farm. With the help of this loan, he hopes to generate greater profits and buy food. In the future, William plans to expand his business.
