Susana's story

Mrs. Susana J., from the village of Sangay Diot, Ozamiz City, is 45 years old, married, and has one adult and four school-aged children. To make a living, Susana owns and operates a general store selling a variety of products in the local community. Engaged in her business for six months, she earns approximately 3,000 PHP a month.

In February 2010, Susana joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve both her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. Having repaid her previous loan of 5,000 PHP from PMPC, she is now requesting her second loan for 1000 PHP to purchase additional products for her retail store. Susana plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family and to save for future emergencies.
