Chuluunbaatar's story

Chuluunbaatar B. is 28 years old and lives with his daughter in Umnugobi province, Mongolia. He and his daughter live together in a traditional Mongolian tent home called a ger. His daughter attends a local kindergarten.

Chuluunbaatar has a studio where he produces a variety of paintings and sculpture. He has been engaged in this business since 2000 with the help of his father, B., and he has since built a stable and successful operation. Over the years, he has gained a lot of experience as an artist and has greatly improved his quality of life. He has used his earnings to build a workplace in his yard as well as to decorate his home.

In the future, he wants to expand his business and study to become an art teacher to instruct children how to paint pictures. He is planning to open his own exhibition during the end of October in his town. In November, he hopes to participate in an exhibition that will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital city.

Chuluunbaatar says, "For artists, the exhibition is the best way and biggest chance to sell their art." He is requesting a 1,500,000 MNT loan to purchase necessary materials and supplies in order to create more paintings and sculptures that will be exhibited in his own gallery opening in November.
