Roman's story

Roman is a low-income, vulnerable person. He is 27 and lives in Saatli town in the south-central flat area of the Azerbaijan Republic in the Caucasus region. Roman rents a small shop in the local bazaar of Saatli town and sells food. The business is very successful but needs some investment to increase the daily turnover.

Roman has no collateral to use in applying to the commercial banks. That's why he applied to Normicro's Saatli branch for a US$ 500 loan. This loan would allow him to buy and sell bigger amount of goods and to provide better the necessities of life of his parents.
