A loan of $700 helped additional working capital.

Cheryl Marie's story

Cheryl Marie V. is a single woman who lives in Brgy. Caceres, Oslob, Cebu. She earns her living by operating a small eatery.

Cheryl Marie joined NWTF-Project Dungganon in 2006 because she wanted something better for her family. With the help of her past 9 loans from NWTF-Project Dungganon, Cheryl Marie has been incrementally lifting her family out of poverty by the sweat of her brow.

Her previous loan of 29,500 Philippine pesos (PHP) helped her earn a monthly profit of 6000 PHP, thus raising the family's standard of living. This time, for her 10th cycle loan, she is again borrowing 29,500 PHP which she intends to use as additional capital for her small eatery so that she can continue to save up for the future, especially that of her children.

Cheryl Marie V. is a Dungganon woman who is following an honorable path towards the achievement of her dreams.
