Emprendedoras 2 & 3 Group's story

Ana is one of the members of the "Grupo Emprendedoras 2 y 3" [Group of Entrepreneurial Women 2 and 3]. They are microentrepreneurs dedicated to selling clothing, natural products and shoes, providing education, etc., in the city of L. Alcarrizos, an industrial city north of S. Domingo with a large population and strong growth. This associate of Esperanza works selling milk and other products derived from the same, such as yogurt and cheese.

Ana is receiving her second loan with Esperanza, after having paid off her first loan, which she invested in starting her business. Little by little she was able to invest in other products in order to open a "Colmado" (a small food store). She will use her earnings to continue investing in her business. Her most difficult challenge has been raising her 3 children, together with her husband, so that they will be successful, educated and professional people, at the same time that she has been studying and working. Her dream is to continue making progress with her business, with the aim of having a better future.

In this group: Ana, Wendy, Rosa, Yessica, Francisca, Antonia, Amarilis, Martina, Ana, Bartolina
