A loan of $1,000 helped copiers.

Yessica Patricia's story

Yessenia is 36 years old and runs a small paper store in the front part of her home; she lives in Paraiso de Guayaquil (a semi-urban area with dirt streets and houses situated in the mountains).

She started her business 3 years ago when her mother and one of her brothers started sending her money from abroad to invest in the store. Little by little, she has been able to grow her small paper store. She had a tumor 2 years ago which slowed her ability to grow the business but now she has recovered and is ready to stock her store.

She will use the loan to buy a copier to provide other services to her customers. In the future, she would like to grow the paper store and give great service to her clients.
