Felix's story

Felix is 42 years old and he is a very happy and hard working individual. He lives in a home that he owns together with his wife Nancy, 36 years old, and their 7 beloved children. He wishes to provide them with a better quality of life. Felix's business is the harvest of potatoes, fava beans and peas. Every morning he sets out for his fields and works to make them more fertile and more productive. He brings the harvest to the wholesalers' market in Tarma. There, he is able to acquire very good prices for his products, given their excellent quality. What he most enjoys about his work warding off plagues that may decimate production. He has had 5 years in the field and in time he hopes to purchase or rent more land to increase production. This is his sixth loan through MFP (Kiva Field Partner) and he is committed to making his payments on time, not wanting to cause any trouble for his community bank. He is a very responsible and punctual member of the bank. The three thousand nuevos soles he requests will be used to purchase more fertilizer for his plantations.
